my vet told me to put some “satrenella” oil (spelling might be wrong) on my hands, , apparently dogs dont like the taste. or even use some spray on insect repellent.
Puppies will bite because they are teething. Do not muzzle your puppy, this will teach him nothing. Puppies also do what is called gratuitous biting. The best thing you can do is take your puppy to a puppy training class and check out books from the library on how to train your puppy. Never scold or yell and be very careful how you handle your puppy as dachshunds tend to have back problems. Be patient. Proper training is essential. Always consult and expert with any training issues.

I think these are minis right? I have a Standard and he’s about 30lbs. I’ve got a video posted of him if you’d like to see his size. The minis should be 11-12 lbs. at the most, standards up to 32 lbs.
